"I’ve been going to Sarah’s Modern Jive lessons for over 5 years now. The dancing is so addictive; I started going once a week, and now dance three times a week. I’ve always loved dancing and was thrilled to find a fun way of continuing to dance now that I’m too old for the ‘club scene’ (I’m in my early 40s). I met my last partner through dancing, and have made lots of new friends.

The dance moves are easy to learn – I’ve now progressed to learning how to ‘lead’ the dance (ie, taking the ‘man part’). At Easter Sarah helped me to raise money for my charity The Education And Book Appeal:Ghana, when 3 friends and I dressed as bunny girls and danced with people for donations. I highly recommend Modern Jive – it’s changed my life completely. No boring trips to the gym for me, I get enough exercise dancing for 3 or 4 hours three times a week!"

“After years of longing to learn to dance but not having the courage or a partner, a friend introduced me to Modern Jive and I have had more fun in the last 18 months than in the last 18 years! Everyone was welcoming from the start and eager to help a two left-footed beginner. Dancing is such great exercise for both body and mind; I have lost weight and toned muscles I never knew I had. I even gained the confidence to jive in a bunny costume recently for a charity dance – I would never have done that before Le Roc!"

"Sarah is probably the best Modern Jive teacher for beginners in the South East. All the classes are really friendly, the staff and customers. It's a great (and safe) place to meet new friends, have fun, get fit and learn to dance. Until you've tried it you won't know what you're missing - once you have you'll be hooked"
