Every-one knows Wally and what a wonderful chap he is. Wally is poorly in hospital at the moment so I wanted to make a fun photograph album for him to look over whilst he is recovering in hospital.

On Wednesday 25th March we started a music survey, if you wish your preferences to be noted then please copy/paste the form below and send to sarah@modernjive.biz alternatively fill in a copy from one of our events.

When all the forms are calculated we will be able to gauge the most popular type of music which will enable us to meet your preferred requirements. However if you are a regular please see our DJ with your favourite tracks and he will endeavour to play your music or like music when-ever he sees you.

Simon proposal

On the week running up to Valentines day at Dorking Halls, Tuesday 10th February Simon finally popped the question and asked Nicole to marry him. Nicole couldn't work out why there were so many people flooding into the hall nearing the end of the intermediate routine. Simon asked the DJ to play the last track again, popped Nicole into a spin and on her return he dropped to one knee and produced the ring asking her to marry him. The whole room was ecstatic for this exceptional couple and judge for yourself from the photos below what was her reply.

We'd all like to wish the happy couple the very best for their wonderful future ahead. We have a card at reception, if you'd like to write a word or two please feel free or alternatively if you'd prefer to send your own we can arrange to forward these on,

John Symonds and Debbie Pole

Will be returning with their new showcase routine for the 2009 competitions. This new routine has not been seen before and they will be performing this at Putting on the Ritz, Saturday 14th March at the fabulous Winter Gardens, Compton Street Eastbourne.

These two are Two-times 'Open' Champions, winning the Scottish AND Midlands champs and 3rd at BritRock all in 2008! Come and join us.
