Exclusive to Sarah's Modern Jive we are bringing to Eastbourne a regular Cocktails & Jive night. These nights are designed to be fun nights of music dance and cocktails.

For those that have never jived, do not think these nights are not for you as Sarah Johnson of Sarah’s Modern Jive will start the night with a quick and impressive, easy to learn Modern Jive lesson and will soon have you up dancing the night away.

Modern jive is fun, easy to learn and looks great on the dance floor, it’s an exciting, stylish partner dance quite similar to Salsa but without the complicated footwork.


With a DJ hosting the night and a wide variety of musical styles from blues, funk, Latin, swing, jazz, pop and rock from RetrOactive you will not be disappointed. From the Rat Pack to Robbie Williams we will cover music from the 40's to modern day

No evening would be complete with out the bar, we are very pleased to have cocktails4occasions.com working with us supplying the licensed bar, they will be serving standard drinks plus a selection of cocktails with the added attraction of waiter service.

We even have a "RetrOactive" cocktail on the cocktail menu, so put on your glad rags and dancing shoes and join us for a night to remember


We will be using the Town Hall Assembly rooms for these occasions. The Town Halls large sprung floor and elegant architecture lends itself ideally to creating that atmosphere needed to create a very special night out.

Sarah’s Modern Jive kicks off new event with a sell out night Saturday 17th May
 
The Eastbourne Town Hall Assembly Rooms proved to be the place to be when RetrOactive dance band, Sarah’s Modern Jive, and Cocktails4occasions.com combined their talents to put on a cocktails & dance night.
 
The music supplied by the acclaimed 10 piece band RetrOactive proved very popular with the jive dancers, who kept the dance floor alive for the entire night, only pausing briefly to sample the delights of the cocktails served up by cocktails4occassions.com.
 
Alan Branch a regular dancer with Sarah’s Modern Jive said “what a fantastic night, amazing atmosphere and it was great to be able to dance to live music.   These guys are one of the best live bands I have heard in a long time and I am really looking forward to the next event”
