Friday 22nd October
Party Night at Hove Centre Doors open at 8pm for The 70's Disco BritRock
Ball, fancy dress optional but preferable. Hosted by Sarah Johnson, Andy
McGregor,
Gordon Pownall (BritRock MC and Sally Pownall BritRock's music director, alias DJ Bunny
who will be at the decks for an exciting evening fun evenin full of surprises
and DWAS competition with the winning couple going straight through to the
finals of the comp the next day. During the Friday evening DJ Bunny will play a selection of fab music
which will include tracks to be used in the Saturday Competition, although not all and we obviously won't be telling you which
ones!
Spectators on the day
Are encouraged to cheer, shout and whoop up as much support for their friends
as possible they can watch and join in with the plenty of
freestyle dancing in-between heats. Categories are: Dance with a
Stranger, Intermediate,
Advanced and Open Freestyle, Show Case, Seniors, Air Steps, Double Trouble and Team cabaret
and if that wasn't enough to keep you entertained. hot spot
categoryHow does is work? One couple is selected from each venue that will represent your
class to compete against other venues from around the UK, please bring banners,
flyers, loud voices to cheer encourage and help make YOUR guys moment.
Entry for the whole Saturday is £25 on the day or £22 when
purchased in advance (group booking discounts available)
